BOOKMARKS, a follow-up to storyteller Corin Raymond's 2011 monologue
Bookworm (a performance "at once intimate, openhearted, and evangelical" -
The Georgia Straight), is poignant memoir, a feast of word-fun, and yet
another evangel of book-magic -- of books encountered, lost, and found,
and the secret paths they travel in the world. "Corin Raymond is a
storyteller who by the end of the night you'll have known your whole life"

In 1850s Boston, confirmed bachelor Thomas Bulfinch, whose translations of
Greek/Roman myths were the standard for 100 years in the West, was
otherwise known for his virulent anti-homosexuality activism. He published
one other book - a memorial to his deceased younger student, Matthew,
beside whom he had himself buried. Bulfinch's Mythology compares
Bulfinch's unnameable desires with his eviscerated translations. Myth,
mime, and theatre coalesce to tell the story of what was lost in
translation.

The year is 2020. The pandemic hits. Stories were rewrote and destroyed.
Couples who were seen as perfect, broke up. LGBTQ+ youth who found safety

Families that were physically distanced, were brought closer together. The
whole world learned that despite our differences, we were all in it
together. It may sound unrealistic or untrue, but I guarantee: it all
happened during the quarantine.

Bookworm (a performance "at once intimate, openhearted, and evangelical" -
The Georgia Straight), is poignant memoir, a feast of word-fun, and yet
another evangel of book-magic -- of books encountered, lost, and found,
